Welcome, I say, to this group.
I have a desire, and that desire is to see the people around me having a better life, more people having access to education, talented people having more opportunities to develop and showcase their talents, every hardworking person finding it easier to make money; I desire this.
I prefer to live in a country where there is a way of doing things, where people get discouraged to do evil and there will be incentives for doing good. It should be a place where children will grow up to be responsible adults, a safe society where we will be able to live as the Africans we are, living the African way in the ways that matter while not being backwards with respect to the rest of the world.
I want a country like this. And this morning, I got the conviction that it is possible. It will take a long time, it will take a lot of efforts, but it can be done. If we are unable to see it happen, we must have left something for our successors, a hope for a better future. Yet it is something we can achieve and see work.
This is a call to join the bandwagon. We can build a new country. Let’s see how we can make it work!
